Tour Description

Join us on a time travel adventure and explore the Colosseum and its archaeological complex.  Discover Rome’s most iconic amphitheater in the company of a top rated local Spanish speaking guide.
In just three hours, you’ll become an expert on all things Ancient Rome!
Your tour will start at the Colosseum, where you’ll benefit from our Skip the Line tickets and enter the Colosseum’s arena from the Gladiator’s gate. Once inside, you’ll have the once in a lifetime opportunity to cross what was once the main arena for gladiatorial fights, battle reenactments, Christian martyrdoms, and much more. Enjoy the view of the underground corridors of the Colosseum, that saw on a daily basis gladiators prepare themselves for battle.
Once outside of the Colosseum, your guide will lead you to the Palatine Hill, the birth place of Rome. This is the place where Romulus, the founder and first ruler of Rome, built the first settlement that would eventually become the most powerful empire of the Ancient World. While climbing the hill, you’ll hear stories of how emperors, like Augustus, Tiberius, and others, built their palaces on the Palatine Hill, gaining a spectacular view of the adjacent valleys.
Your tour will end with a lovely stroll through the Roman Forum. What was once the beating hear of Rome’s day to day life, is today an open air museums, and UNESCO heritage. 2,000 years ago you would have heard shopkeepers selling their goods, senators debating on new legislations, as well as public speakers hold rallies and public trials.
