Tour Description

Book our Day Trip from Rome to Pompeii & Sorrento and enjoy these two absolute gems of Campania.

If you are staying in Rome, save one day from your schedule to visit one of the biggest archaeological areas in Italy, Pompeii, and the beautiful landscapes of Sorrento, one of the main cities on the Amalfi Coast.
We designed a full day trip that includes 12 hours with an English-speaking driver, who will take you to the south of Rome till Campania on board of a VIP car or minivan.

The trip will include a visit inside the archaeological area of Pompeii. During the 2 hours with your guide you will learn the unbelievable story behind this lively and advanced Roman civilization that was buried under a layer of pumice stones and ash after Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD. The layers of ashes and stones, though, allowed the ruins to survive the centuries and keep themselves beautifully preserved.

In the second part of your trip, your driver will bring you to Sorrento. Here you will be able to have lunch, walk through the city’s narrow, picturesque alley and enter many artisans’ shops and boutiques. Before leaving the town, chill out sipping limoncello liqueur made with lemons grown in the area and take panoramic pictures.

The tour includes a private driver for the whole day, 2-hours private guide.
