Vatican Small Group Tour with Early Entrance

Tour Description

With our Early Access Vatican Museums Small Group Tour you will be able to visit the Vatican as peacefully as you can, by entering it before the regular visitors!

Learn from your local, English-speaking expert guide anything you need to know about the smallest State in the world with about 900 citizens! You will be led with high enthusiasm through the main highlights of Vatican Museums. You will be shown the beautiful Gallery of the Candelabra, Gallery of the Tapestries and Gallery of the Maps, where main collections are preserved. Your next stop will be the magnificent Raphael Rooms, commissioned by Pope Julius II and painted by the worldwide famous Raphael. Visit the Borgia Pope apartments just before heading to the indescribable Sistine Chapel. We are more than sure that the work of the indisputable master Michelangelo will take your breath away!

Your tour is not finished yet since we have another gift for you: from the Sistine Chapel you will reach St. Peter’s Basilica through a very special access. The Basilica houses the beautiful “Pietà” by Michelangelo, sculpted and signed by the master when he was only 21 years old. You will also see the impressive Baldachin projected in the 17th century by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, the master of the baroque period along with Borromini. You will also learn about stories of rivalry among the different artists, about the aristocratic families who commissioned and owned the artworks in the city in the past centuries when Rome was the capital of the Papal State. By reserving an early tour with an early Access, you will be able to beat the crowd and to enjoy the visit without being overwhelmed by thousands of visitors.

We promise a truly unique experience, a memory that will last forever. With an enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable guide and the special early entrance you will have the opportunity to visit one of the largest museums with over 6 miles of galleries!

On your way out you will have the opportunity to see the Swiss guards whose uniform was designed by Michelangelo. Discover more about the Vatican history and artwork with your guide in a small group tour up to 20 people!
