The meeting place for your incredible 3 hours tour will be in front of Farnese palace, in Farnese square where an unbelievable colonnade by Borromini is located. What makes it so unique and famous is its perspective game; something you absolutely should see!

Once you and your private guide introduce each other, continue the rest of your tour walking together to the stunning Navona Square, where you will admire its beautiful fountains and get to know all the stories behind them. Here you also visit the Church of St. Luis of the French. The most famous treasure inside this church is the cycle of paintings you can find in the Contarelli Chapel, realized by Caravaggio between 1599 and 1600, about the life of St. Matthew. This includes the three world-renowned canvases of The Calling of St MatthewThe Inspiration of Saint Matthew and The Martyrdom of Saint Matthew. The itinerary of your Caravaggio and Bernini Private Tour will then bring you straight to the Church of St. Agostino, where you will be blown away by works from Caravaggio and Raphael! Your adventure through Baroque Rome will continue to the nearby Church of St. Mary above Minerva, the only extant example of an original Gothic church building in Rome. Next you will visit the Church of St. Ignatius. This is a Roman Catholic titular church, dedicated to Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus. It is best known for its fake perspective dome, a masterpiece skillfully created by Andrea Pozzo. At the end of your tour, you will finally see also the Church of St. Andrew of the Fratte, where you can admire the spectacular angels sculpted by Bernini.
