This time, the event arrived at the XXVIII edition. Once again, Como city center will turn into a special area dedicated to fun and joy both for adults and kids. There are countless ways and surprises to discover at the City of Toys.

Check out below and discover all of them.

What to see and do at Como City of Toys

If you are looking for entertainment for all the members of the family, then look no further than Como City of Toys.

The Magic light Festival is one of the highlights of the City of Toys. Thanks to impressive projections over the historical buildings of Como, the city turns into an open air museum where the visitor will feel like entering an enchanted forest. This year, to make the event even more special, artists from both Italy and foreign countries contributed to the realization of lights’ design. You can explore the Magic Light Festival in Piazza Duomo, Piazza Verdi and Piazza del Popolo. The traditional Christmas Tree will be covered with LED lights too.

One of the unmissable attractions is definitely the ice-skating rink, suitable for all the family. Located inside a Christmas Garden in Via dei Corridoni, it is open in the afternoon during the weekdays and all day long on the weekends. You can have a ride.

If your kids love playgrounds, then do not miss a stop to the Bruco Mela roller coaster, a vintage attraction moving on trails: fun is guaranteed both for adults and kids!

Keep on exploring the rivers of Lake Como and you will find the stunning panoramic wheel that will allow you to admire Como and its surroundings from a different point of view.

In Piazza Verdi travel back in time with the XVIII Century carousel: the evocative atmosphere of old times will be enriched by the impressive lights projections covering the whole square.

No Christmas event can be completed without the traditional Nativity Scene, open every afternoon at Como City of Toys. In Italy, the first one who created cribs was St. Francis himself back in the XII Century. The Nativity scene of the City of Toys is both linked to tradition and renewal. This year, it takes place in Pontifical Gallio College, an institution where culture and spirituality developed for over 400 years.
